About Our Cover Artist & Photographer

R.C. Mooney was commissioned by the Montclair Center BID to paint the beautiful mural that graces the cover. R.C. Mooney is a northern New Jersey native. He feels lucky to have experienced a variety of people and cultures from a young age. R.C. is inspired by accomplishments through collaboration and community. He believes in positive change and keeping good relations. He likes to paint, is humbled by both nature and human accomplishments, appreciates craftsmanship, and loves the American spirit. He is well trained in the lost art of billboard painting. R.C. owns and operates One Drop Sign Shop, a strictly hand painted sign and mural business located in Montclair, NJ.

Mark Jaworski, of Mark Jaworski Studios, took the picture of the mural for the front cover. Mark Jaworski is an internationally published photographer whose work has appeared in publications such as Rolling Stone, 20th Century Fox, Billboard, NPR, Forbes and many more. While Mark has proudly called Montclair his home for nearly the past decade, you can often find him and his camera traveling the world, capturing images of the interesting people he meets along the way.
